Limerick Captain Declan Hannon launches gift box collection in support of homeless charity.

In a new long term partnership, have paired up with GAA legends, Alan Brogan and Declan Hannon to collaborate and create a Signature Collection Gift Box that represents the very essence and qualities of their respectively native counties of Dublin and Limerick.

Commenting at the launch of his Limerick Signature Collection, Declan Hannon said “this is a very exciting venture for me to be involved with and in particular with Alan and the lads at sicsock and also to be able to bring a very different and original Limerick themed sock range out there, to show my love of the city and county is amazing” Declan went on to add that a key component of his partnership with sicsock was the socially conscious element “It’s a proud moment to be able to help Novas, particularly at this time of year and to help support their work. Also to see my collection along sides Alan, who has done so much for Dublin GAA, is a real honour”

Moving east across the Shannon and towards the capital, Alan Brogan very much echos the words of the Limerick captain. “It’s important to be able to give back to my local community, and to be able to help in some small way the work of over the festive period.” Speaking of his love for the GAA and his native city Alan tells us “the retro design feel of his collection will appeal to Dubliners right across the board, yes the GAA fan and hill 16, the sky-blue of Dublin, but my collection I feel is beyond that as well”

He hinted that he’s more in the pipeline for future collections with talk of Dublin Landmarks and memories past, and while this collection of Alan’s is very much geared towards the GAA fanbase, you can sense his passion for Dublin will appear on future collections as a large smile sweeps across his face.

Looking towards the future and plans for SicSock Eoghan Carroll tells us, “It’s very exciting to have Alan and Declan partnering with us at such an early stage of our business and for them to bring their own unique styles and brands with them is really exciting.” He went on to add “This is our first collection with the guys and the feedback has been so positive. I think when the wider GAA community see our Buy a pair, Gift a pair approach and the designs collections the guys have, they’ll really get behind Declan and Alan’s Signature Collections”
